How to use Marquee or Blink

My advice: Don't
  • It is distracting to the viewer
  • It is not friendly to users with disabilities
  • It is against W3C Guidelines


If you try to insert the marquee code in the HTML for a page, like <marquee behavior="scroll" direction="left">Your slide-in text goes here</marquee>
The marquee tag will be removed. The marquee tag has been a non-compliant HTML tag for a number of years.
