This page will refresh every 4 seconds

Click "Insert", select "More gadgets". Click "Public" and search for "redirector".
 I used the "URL Redirector Gadget Modified"

Click "Insert", select "More gadgets"
Select Add Gadget by URL.

I set the timeout value to 4 just for the demo. Probably better to set it to a longer time.
 
I set the "PageTo" address to the address of the page.
 
I deselected "Display title on gadget".
 
You could try setting the height and width smaller so it isn't so obvious.
